Lucas Glover and Zac Blair open the John Deere Classic with matching 63s.

Glover and Blair each shot bogey-free, 8-under 63s to share the early first-round lead at TPC Deere Run. Glover, the 2021 John Deere Classic winner, birdied five holes on the front nine and added three more after the turn.

Blair started on the back nine, made three birdies before the turn, then added a birdie at No. 1, an eagle at the par-5 second and two late birdies at Nos. 6 and 7.
