Lucas Glover and Zac Blair open the John Deere Classic with matching 63s.

Glover and Blair each shot bogey-free 8-under 63s Thursday at TPC Deere Run to share the early first-round lead at the John Deere Classic.

Glover made five birdies on his opening nine and added three more after the turn. Blair started on the back nine, then made an eagle on the par-5 second during his closing side.
