Lee Hodges opens the John Deere Classic with his best round of 2026.

Hodges shot a bogey-free 7-under 64 in the first round at TPC Deere Run, moving into early contention at the John Deere Classic. The round marked his lowest score of the season.

Hodges entered 2026 on conditional status after finishing 101st in the FedExCup Fall standings. He cracked a rib at the Cognizant Classic in February and later used a major medical extension.
