Antoine Rozner's late birdies leave John Gough one shot short of The Open.

John Gough finished 36 holes at Royal Cinque Ports at seven under, but Antoine Rozner birdied two of his final three holes to take the last qualifying place for The Open at Royal Birkdale.

Gough had won his first HotelPlanner Tour title less than 48 hours earlier. Sergio Garcia also missed out at West Lancashire after saying lasagne left him feeling ill during his second round.
