Viktor Hovland's driver change settles after a shaft adjustment.

Viktor Hovland committed to a Ping G440 LST driver after testing showed it could beat his longtime G425 LST in speed, distance and forgiveness, but only after launch and spin issues were addressed.

The final step came through shaft testing. Hovland had long used a Fujikura Speeder TR 661-TX, and the equipment change became firmer after his win at the Travelers Championship.
