Wyndham Clark has been disqualified twice from PGA Tour events for signing incorrect scorecards during his career. His first disqualification came at The Players Championship in 2019 after marking a par instead of a bogey on the fourth hole, signing for 79 when his actual score was 80.
Clark faced the same penalty at the 2022 Genesis Invitational, where he was disqualified after the opening round for signing an incorrect scorecard following a 77 at Riviera Country Club. Both incidents occurred early in his PGA Tour career before his breakthrough victories.
The two-time major champion has struggled historically at TPC Sawgrass, missing cuts in 2021 and 2022 and withdrawing in 2025 due to a neck injury. His best result came in 2024 when he finished second to Scottie Scheffler, leading after the first two rounds before a final-round birdie putt to force a playoff lipped out on the 72nd hole.
