Gogel said he placed small recreational golf wagers in 2024 and 2025 but did not bet on PGA Tour, PGA Tour Champions or any tournament in which he competed.
The 55-year-old called the violation an honest mistake and said he plans to return to PGA Tour Champions competition in 2027.
