Fitzpatrick said he is playing the best golf of his career after a second-round 65 put him one shot off the Genesis Scottish Open lead at The Renaissance Club.
He has three PGA Tour wins in 2026, including the RBC Heritage, and has moved from 22nd to fourth in the Official World Golf Ranking while contending in Scotland.
