Fog stops the Genesis Scottish Open third round at The Renaissance Club.

Officials suspended third-round play at 10:45 a.m. local time, 5:45 a.m. ET, after heavy fog settled over The Renaissance Club in North Berwick.

Only 17 players were on the course when play stopped. Rain and fog followed a cold front that moved down overnight from northwest Scotland.
