Henderson pitched in for eagle on the par-5 seventh and 15th holes during a third-round 64 at Evian Resort Golf Club. She reached 12 under and shared third place with Mao Saigo.
The round also included six birdies, three bogeys and 23 putts. Henderson trailed Haeran Ryu by seven strokes entering the final round.
