Nelly Korda opens the Evian Championship with a 74.

Korda shot a 3-over 74 in the first round at Evian Resort Golf Club. She made two birdies, three bogeys and a double bogey, leaving her tied for 86th and 11 strokes behind leader Aki Iwai.

Korda hit 11 fairways and 13 greens but needed 34 putts. A win this week would complete her LPGA career Grand Slam and qualify her for the points-based LPGA Hall of Fame.
