The Open adds a last-chance qualifier for one Royal Birkdale spot.

The Open Championship will leave one place open for a new Last-Chance Qualifier at Royal Birkdale on Monday, July 13. Twelve players will play 18 holes, with the lowest score earning the final spot in the 156-player field.

Players will go out in four groups of three starting at 7:30 a.m. BST. A tie for the final place will be settled by sudden death.
