Dalke opened the BMW International Open with a 3-under 69 at Golfclub München Eichenried. He nearly made a hole-in-one at the 12th, where his tee shot slid past the cup.
Jayden Schaper and Hennie du Plessis shared the first-round lead after 8-under 64s, leaving Dalke five shots behind after his opening round.
