The PGA Tour approved eligibility rules for its Championship and Challenger series, which begin in 2028. The Championship Series will retain its top 90 players each year, while the top 20 Challenger Series players will earn promotion.
Championship Series winners will receive membership for the current season and two more seasons. Two Challenger Series wins in one season will trigger immediate promotion. A fall series of at least four tournaments will offer three additional Championship Series cards.
