Rory McIlroy adds the Cathedral Invitational to his December schedule.

McIlroy will play the event at Cathedral Lodge and Golf Club after competing in the Australian Open at Kingston Heath. It will be his second consecutive year playing in Australia.

The mixed pro-am benefits Adam Scott's foundation. McIlroy has committed to 18 holes, while the established tournament format includes a pro-am day and a professionals-only final round.
