The Sentry will join the PGA Tour Championship Series at Torrey Pines in 2028.

The tournament will move from Kapalua to Torrey Pines in 2027, running Jan. 27-30 before gaining Championship Series status the following year. The Travelers Championship and Sompo event are also confirmed for the new series.

The PGA Tour expects its complete 2028 schedule to contain 23 or 24 events, including the majors, Players Championship, redesigned playoffs and team competitions.
