Charley Hull challenged the Scottish Open pin position after making a nine.

Hull putted a 15-foot birdie attempt off the fifth green at Dundonald Links, needed four chips and made a quadruple-bogey nine. She later texted the commissioner to criticize the pin's position near a steep slope.

Hull accepted responsibility for putting off the green but maintained that the hole location was unsuitable. She shot 78, made the cut and tied for 44th.
