Jason Day withdraws from the Rocket Classic as his back injury continues.

Day pulled out Monday after also withdrawing before the previous week's 3M Open. Hayden Springer replaced him in the field at Detroit Golf Club.

Day sits 74th in the FedExCup standings with one regular-season tournament remaining. The top 70 advance to the playoffs and secure PGA Tour cards for next season.
