McDowell described the discussions as positive and plans to meet tour officials again in November. He said his fines for competing in LIV Golf events were fully settled at the end of 2023.
The 2010 U.S. Open champion said he expects to play on the European circuit next season if LIV Golf does not continue and the sides can agree on his return.
