Owner Charles Van Eekeren expects the dormant Pennsylvania course to remain closed for four or five years while crews restore its 1921 links-style design. He wants designated tree removal completed by the end of 2026.
The project covers the 175-acre course and 65 surrounding acres. Plans also include stream-bank stabilization, overnight cabins and a larger clubhouse, which could take up to 10 years to complete.
