The PGA Tour selected Begay for the award recognizing character, sportsmanship and charitable work, including his efforts through the Native-led NB3 Foundation.
Begay, a four-time PGA Tour winner, will be honored Aug. 25 during Tour Championship week at a ceremony in Atlanta.
