Tyler Watts earns a place on the United States Walker Cup team.

The incoming Tennessee freshman qualified as one of the three highest-ranked Americans in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Watts ranked second among Americans on July 8 after becoming the Northeast Amateur's youngest champion.

The United States will face Great Britain and Ireland at Lahinch Golf Club in Ireland on Sept. 5-6. Watts will become Tennessee's fourth Walker Cup player and its first freshman in the match.
