Marcus Plunkett prepares for his Open debut after qualifying at Dundonald Links.

The 32-year-old former U.S. Army captain claimed the final qualifying place at Dundonald by holding steady over his last four holes. He will make his Open Championship debut at Royal Birkdale.

Plunkett returned to golf after nearly four years away and later earned Korn Ferry Tour and Asian Tour cards. He entered Open week ranked 20th on the Asian Tour Order of Merit.
