Tommy Fleetwood starts a hometown Open still chasing his first major.

Fleetwood grew up in Southport and said competing in an Open at Royal Birkdale is special. The 35-year-old was set for his 45th major start and remained without a major title.

An English-born golfer has not won The Open since Nick Faldo claimed his third Claret Jug in 1992.
