Maddalena, 66, closed with a 73 at Golf Club of Georgia to finish at 3 under, one stroke ahead of Stevie Cannady. He protected the lead with a birdie on the par-5 18th.
He opened with rounds of 69 and 71 and had only one three-putt all week. Keith Holmes finished third at 3 over, five shots behind Cannady.
