Lucas Politano wins the Vermont Amateur by 12 shots.

Politano closed with a tournament-low 5-under 65 at Ekwanok Country Club to win his second Vermont Amateur title in three years. He finished at 272, 12 strokes ahead of Alex Leonard.

The Rutgers golfer made six birdies in the final round, including four on the back nine, with one bogey at No. 17. Walker Allen and Austin Giroux tied for third at 5 over.
